This morning I woke up and sat down to see if the new magic server on Active Rain was indeed working, and there is was.

Blog Buddy Todd Clark had just passed the 1,000,000 mark!

I first "met" Todd at Pimlico Raceway in Baltimore.  I was out there with my mother and sister chereing our horses on and drinking Black Eyed Susans, the official beverage of Pimlico.  And my cell phone rang with an unfamiliar number. 

Since I wasn't yet loopy, I answered and got Todd on the other end.  I think I mentioned him in a post and he was calling to say thank you.

So, Todd!  Thank you for lots and lots of posts and comments on my posts and all the other good citizen things you have to do around here to earn points.  And thanks for all of the people you have introduced to Active Rain during you tenure.

When I push the "Post Blog Entry" thingie, it will put me over 800,000, and I'm sure there will be a bunch of other milestones out there today. 

But yours in the one that is making all of us say "Wow!"

Todd is in fact a great agent and a great person. With him it is clearly not just about points.  It is clearly about family ....and helping families home.

He posts 19 neighborhood market data posts every week, putting him high in Google for every one of them all the time.  They have been getting better and better.  Seldom does he get more than 25 points each for the great bulk of them....because he also posts a usual 7-12 ordinary, extraordinary posts as well.

He gets great editing help from his wife....in the midst of home schooling their three kids....who are not only well-behaved.  They are truly impressive. And the older two have been known to post great reviews of children's books on his blog from time to time.

With Todd...it really is all about family....all the time.
