Port Richey, FL- The Embassy One U Store at 6647 Embassy Blvd is a 65,500 sq.ft. storage facility for all your extra stuff. It has 24/7 recorded security and a security gate; and sells all the packing supplies you might need including bubble wrap.
Owned by Norman Ohannesyan (Mr. Norman) it has been open for approximately 18 months. Norman is a very interesting person with a great story to tell. He is from Armenia (he is now an American citizen) and came to this country in 1957. He obtained a seaman's certificate and became a cabin boy on a Swedish ocean liner. When it docked in NY, he sneaked off and ran to a near-by subway station. He wandered to Central Park where he lived for a short time. Norman found some fellow Armenians and got a job in an automotive shop. Within 27 months, this man who could only speak 4-5 words of English when he jumped ship, was a foreman of a shop. In 1962 he purchased his first shop. Norman has been in many businesses and even built homes; all his business have been very successful. He says, "I never thought of myself as a symbol but this is an American dream come true" When you get a chance, drop in an hear his story for yourself. You can find him at Embassy One U Store most days. Norman is a member of the West Pasco Chamber of Commerce
