A Great Hike in Taos, New Mexico. This is one of my favorite spring hikes around Taos. It is a gorgeous and easy wallk along the little Rio Grande Gorge and then to the confluence of the Rio Grande and Little Rio Grande Rivers.
This photo shows the start of the trail.
Next Photo is on the way down along the Little Rio Grande Gorge. It really is a great Sunday hike.
The next photo is down by the Little Rio Grande which is roaring this time of year.
Following along the Big water.
Down at the confluence of the Little Rio Grande and The Rio Grande in Taos.
The hike takes about 30-40 minutes to hike down to the confluence of the two rivers and about 45-50 minutes to climb back up to the Rim. It is one of my favorite springtime hikes in Taos.
The trail head is at the end of State Road C110. There are never many people on the trail and it is a great Sunday outing. Take your dog!
