An Amazing Milestone, Todd Clark Hits 1,000,000 ActiveRain Points!!
an incredible accomplishment that I felt should be trumpeted throughout Active Rain ('cause it seems like Bob Stewart isn't really giving it enough attention!)
I have to admit, I'm almost speechless. Todd Clark hit 1,000,000 points earlier today on ActiveRain.
How the heck does someone have that much focus and that much to say? (I don't have the answer, I'm really wondering how he did it) The crazy part? He doesn't spend 5 hours a day on the site, like you might think. He's figure out how to streamline his blogging using voice recognition software on his iPhone. Of course, he has one of the best editors in the business to clean things up (his wife) before he posts it. But the point is, he's found a way to be extremely successful with his blog while not having it consume his life.
Today, we'd like to honor Todd's achievement by dedicating the feature board to some of his best posts and the posts that mean something to him. If you read below, you'll see a collection of his favorite posts, our favorite posts of his and get a good glimpse into the mind of a super blogger.
I had the chance to meet Todd a few weeks ago at REBarCamp Seattle. He has the same easy demeanor and focus in real life. You don't write 2700 blog posts without finding your voice, and having that voice match exactly who you are in real life. I have no question that when a prospect reaches out to him because of his blog, they are met with the same dedicated professional they thought they were going to get.
Not only that, but on top of being a super blogger and a great agent, he has an beautiful wife and some of the most well behaved kids you will ever find. They all stopped by and visited with us at ActiveRain headquarters before heading home to Oregon. We sent them home with a flip video camera so we look forward to seeing some great video blogs from Todd in the future.
We are going to be flying him out to an upcoming RainCamp to share his story with our attendees. We haven't figure out which one yet, but I have no question the folks in attendence that day are going to get some amazing insights into using their blog to generate business, something Todd has been doing with steady success since joining ActiveRain in January of 2007.
Todd, thank you my friend! You've been an amazing Ambassador to ActiveRain and there is no way we can repay you for everything you've done to spread the word about ActiveRain in your market and for sharing your success, your struggles and your life with all of us here in the Rain.
