If you've been following my posts, you've seen the Feng Shui Synchronicity occuring these days in Northport, Long Island, New York. In one post I told about my clients appeared to have been frightened by the changes occuring after a Feng Shui Consultation. In a subsequent post I told that I had received an email the following morning that the woman who had written the Book, The Auspicious Goat, had read my post and MET MY CLIENT FOR THE FIRST TIME THE VERY DAY I HAD BEEN THERE.
While I do not know the entire story of the Auspicious Goat, I do know it made the Guinness's book or World Records for the longest living Goat. I have been emailing the lovely author of this book and she was kind enough to send me some pictures of her AUSPICIOUS PUMPKINGS. She is hoping for them to make a record as well---and they appear to be well on their way!
She told me these pumpkins grow 35 to 40 POUNDS A DAY and I am able to show you two pictures of them. Keep your fingers crossed that they'll make a record as well.
Quite a backyard, isn't it??

The first pumpkin you will see was 40 days old yesterday: It's current weight is 357 Pounds---as of yesterday. Another 40 pounds makes it close to 400 pounds! The pumpkin in the middle was 35 days old yesterday and weighed 436 pounds. Keep adding :) And finally, THE BIG ONE (as if the others weren't big enough!). Pumpkin number 3 was 35 days old and weighed in yesterday at 601 pounds.
I have to wonder how many people on Activerain have PUMPKIN PATCHES IN THEIR BACKYARD???? Maybe none?
The LONG ISLAND RECORD for a pumpkin is 1,030 pounds. The WORLD RECORD IS 1502 pounds. Any bets if one of them will make it? And which one? If you want to see a GREEN THUMB, look at these pictures (and you thought YOU had one :) You may visit her website at http://www.auspiciousgoat.com/ and this lovely woman's name is Carolyn Freund-Nelson in beautiful Northport, Long Island.
Grow, Carolyn, GROW!!

Beautiful pumpkins, Carole ! And a beautiful garden too. How does she ever weigh them ? That's a lot of pumpkin pies.
The Auspicious Goat looks to be a very interesting book.
