Emelyn, Love the cactus too. They are so unusual and vibrant. Thanks for the photo trip!
Charles - I took so many photos of lots of different cactus plants...how do you choose? It was a lovely day to meander around these succulent plants.
Susan - Thank you for your nice comments...this time of year, the plants are so colorful!
Emelyn, looks like a wonderful place to visit and relax. Cactus are such interesting plants, so harsh with their thorns, yet offer up such beauty in their flowers.
I have a cactus that survives freezing weather and then blooms in the spring. I did not know they could do that here near Philadelphia until a few years ago. They shrivel up in the cold months, look really dead and then come back with the increased sun! Amazing!

Hi Emelyn,
This past weekend I was out our Cactus gardens and the blooms were stunning. You really captured some great shots. I was standing under some sort of a cactus tree that looked like hundred tentacles. Not sure what it was but it was huge. Nice presentation.
Gloria - Cactus have to be real survivors....when you think of the conditions in which they exist! I have also discovered them in some of the most unusual places and climates!
Hi William - send me a photo, maybe I can identify the cactus tree! Thanks for your comments.
