Lenn, Nice pictures.

I tried to email you...slow system. I thought that I read the blogging article and that it said ONLY 4% of agents were blogging, which makes more sense.

As for age...NAR loves to play the 'age' game. I always give them a different age in their surveys. Just to mess with their thinking.

And, I did have typing in high school. Heck, I used to type 90 WPM with nary an error. Got my first job out of college because of my typing skills, not my degree!

I would want the yellow farm house in the middle.  How much?  Curious- it's a great house!

Elieen.  My system was slow last evening too.

I didn't get typing in high school.  That "previlege was reserved" for girls who were not college bound.  Since they were steered towards being secretaries, they were given typing.  I taught myself to type when I was in the government because I got tired of waiting for a clerk-typist to get to my work.  In fact, I invested $6,000 in a Lexitron word processor so I could work on my own reports from home.  That was back in the late 1970s.

Laurie.  That house, since it has historical value and is on 3 acres in the middle of Leesburg would be about $2.5 Million.

Wow, Lenn!  A Lexitron word processor?  Mastering that beast started me on the path to a 20-year career in Information Technology.

Forgot you had a blog here.  I still miss your great posts on RealTalk.  Now I can come here when I need a dose of your wisdom!

Hey Glenda.

Nice to hear from you.

Yep.  My first experience on the keyboard was the old Lexitron, a beast.  The SEC started to convert to PCs when I was there and I was introduced to e-mail in about 1975 or so.  It was fascinating.  Back in those days, we didn't take such luxuries for granted.

Stick around ActiveRain.  It's fun.
