So this blog is of a personal nature. My son and his wife are in contract down in San Diego on their first home – a condo. Their search started about 5 months ago, but between the multiple offers and the occupancy rules for condos, they’ve had a heck of a time. Finally, they’d had an offer accepted. A big thanks to AR member, Jeff Dowler, who’s been tireless in helping them find suitable properties and writing offers for them.
They were originally due to close May 3rd, just 10 days before their first child was due. My son’s in grad school too, with finals this week. Could they possibly have any more going on?
Just yesterday morning, during her scheduled check-up, the doctor determined that they’d need to induce labor. Then midday Saturday my son called to let us know our first grandchild made her grand entrance. She’s just 2 hours old in this first snap from their cell phone.
Moving day may be postponed just a bit, but isn't this little bundle of joy about the best way to warm up a new home?
