Every United State Citizen is entitle to receive a free credit report yearly from the three major credit reporting bureaus, Transuion, Equifax, and Experian.  Your credit report can be viewed instantly online or you can have a copy sent snail mail. 

When searching on-line I know a lot of you have ran into the problem of unknown websites  asking for your credit card information, if this happen you are at the wrong website, you do not have to pay to receive a free credit report.  To receive your free credit report you just have to answer a few questions about your self, sometimes they will ask questions that will throw you off its mostly correct but not entirely answer them to the best of your knowledge.

To receive your free credit report go to www.annualcreditreport.com.  Remember to write down your log in and password information to view your report at a later time.  You will not receive your credit score, but you will have a chance to purchase it for a small fee.
