Nashville TN Under Water - Mayor Karl Dean asks for help!Nashville TN Under Water

I don't usually like to copy and paste information but this is so important that any place it can be seen will be helpful.

Many of you know that Nashville received over 13 inches of rain between Friday night and Sunday evening. The news was full of cars floating away, and houses being submerged on TV Saturday and Sunday evenings. The Cumberland River had not yet overflowed.

Patten Fuqua wrote a blog "We are here" because he felt that the National media was ignoring the issue.

Now, downtown is flooded and it looks like our last water source may be down. Please read the latest press release from our mayor:

This is a time that we all need to reach out to each other and do what we can. Our thoughts and Prayers are with these families who have lost so much.

Connie...are you kidding? This is awesome and valuable  information and you are so right to get it out to as many people as can possibly read it!

I'm glad to hear you are ok, your home ok, and hope that business will not be to messed up with this, but one has to presume it will be awhile before Nashville is rolling again!

Keep us all posted!
