I'm Finally Turning "Officially" GREEN!

Well, I've been talking about it, and I finally did it - I signed up for my EcoBroker courses for my EcoBroker designation!

So far, I've only had one lesson from one course out of the three, but it was interesting, if not particularly relevant to our area (radon - when I look at the map of areas for testing purposes, almost our entire state is expected to have a low radon rating).  It's sufficiently challenging that I don't feel like I'm just "buying" a designation, but actually getting an education on the issue, which is good.

My goal is to have this done in the next couple/three months, the rest of my life allowing.  For sure by my renewal date in August, as the hours count towards the required hours for renewing my license.  I think this will dovetail very nicely with my horse property specialty as well as the rest of my business, and it's particularly appropriate here in Central Texas with our long-time emphasis on things Green.

I did not know there was a specific 'eco' designation; thanks, I will check into it!

Bill and Barbara, I didn't either before I came to Active Rain (just like a lot of other useful info I've gotten here).

Gabe, Mary, Stephanie, thanks so much!  I'm excited (though I haven't had a moment to take another block - hoping for this afternoon or this weekend to carve out a block of time).  I've been wanting to do this for months, ever since I first found out about it.
