Real Estate Shows is a marketing tool that allows you to take digital images, link them together in a slide show that mimics live video, and personalize the "show" with music and your own text. Obviously the uses are unlimited, but specifically its application to marketing real estate is powerful. These featured tours can be loaded into the MLS, Realtor.com; they can be emailed, and embedded in a blog or website. Versatile, EASY. If you haven't already, check it out!

RES logoThis blog was inspired by, of course, Sarah Cooper. She writes a blog nearly every day for Real Estate Shows to offer creative ideas on the multitude of uses for these featured tours, their marketing potential and of course, she lets us see lots of examples of quality shows. The how-to tutorials make this process EASY. Did I mention how easy it is? Subscribe to Sarah's RES blog!

Here at Active Rain, we are fortunate to be on the cutting edge with this versatile real estate marketing tool because of Jeff Turner's (President of Real Estate Shows) diligent blogging here. Jeff is a sharp guy who knows marketing, and so it makes sense that he scooped up Sarah Cooper to help him get the word out about his user-friendly featured tours. If you're using RES in your real estate marketing, I strongly suggest you subscribe to their RES blog to keep up with new features and tutorials.

** The RES website Help is in plain easy language, and the RES video tutorials are very good. Use it again and again! (Hey, search the "help" before emailing Jeff and Sarah with questions!!)

I wanted to create a place where there were a lot of RES helpful hints in one Active Rain page, so here it is, and I hope it helps someone. If anyone has more to add, of course you do, leave me a comment and I'll add it! Please leave me the link too!

Sue -- a great list of tools! I am going to have to consider how I might be able to implement them from a buyer agent perspective. Thanks for getting my mind thinking about how I might be able to use these techniques.

Joan, I think community shows emailed to your buyers after they've seen some homes they like could help them choose a community. The schools link and Google map is directly linked to each show!!

A good example of a community show from Thesa Chambers.

A very nice resource for using these shows.  I use them, but not nearly as much as I could and should.  I like all these links in one spot - thanks for organizing this post this way.  I've bookmarked it for future reference.

Sue, this is AMAZING!!!  One of the things I love best about Real Estate Shows is that we as users get to kind of take over and make it into whatever we want it to be.  I use it for work, sure, but I use it for fun, too!

This has got to be the best pulled together post on Real Estate Shows I've ever seen!!!  You have OUTDONE yourself, Sue!!  I love it!!!  :oD!!!

Sue, What a great post!

I will bookmark it just in case I have missed any.  However, I do subscribe, to Sarah's, Jeff's, and the RES blogs.

I have taken to taking my camera almost everywhere, especially to my children's events etc.  I have created a number of personal shows, that are beautiful to send out to people, with their children in it.  I can't post them publicly, to show you all, but, they are always very moving, and I get such wonderful feed back.  Of course, in the process, I am advertising my business, and reminding people of what I do.

I love RES, and can't image ever being without!

Ann, I hope this blog comes in handy for you! You write such awesome Localism blogs with photos from our area. You could create some beautiful community shows to go with your listings. Now there's no excuses...

Patricia, being able to link shows together is a great and unique feature. You can create a community show and link it to your listings show.

If you had a buyer from a different area that enjoyed a particular home, emailing them a link to a community show could cinch the deal. It's nice to see pics of the schools, library, etc to get a sense of the area.

Joelle, you are an RES veteran. I've seen your home staging shows...gorgeous! The before and after gallery shows made for stager's advertising is invaluable to demonstrate the benefits of home staging.

And the fun stuff is fun too. It sounds like you've had a good time with family & friends shows :)
