Okay... there is not really a tornado ripping apart my home right now however, the tornado siren is blaring and my fire pager has alot of chatter on it. So I am sitting here browsing the latest posts and inputting my comments when the local news cuts in with a weather emergency update. A strong line of storms with violent power cells is moving into the area. Storm spotters are out around the outside areas of town and are reporting high activity. So it pops in my head that I should do a post about tornado safety and what to do in case of one.
That will be the very next post that I do since tornado season is upon us! However, I still can't help but sit here and wonder if I am normal to be blogging while a potentially violent storm is about to hit town. Is that normal?? I wonder if ActiveRain will ever have a contest to see who has had the craziest blogging story. So that is mine does anyone else have any stories on crazy moments blogging while on ActiveRain?!

Oh and does anyone have a cure for this AR Affliction?? Apparently the Proxy errors have not cured me yet! Any suggestions would be appreciated!
On a side note I had to finish this post after a quick run to the fire station where I am a volunteer. Apparently a tornado touched down somewhere near our town so we were all paged to respond to the station as a precaution. ( If a tornado was headed towards town or would touch down we move all of the fire trucks out of town and from the path so that we can provide emergency services once the storm passes thru. ) The storm has now passed and we have no severe damage in our area. Hmmmmmm, now I wonder what has been posted since I was gone. :-)
