Tax Credit May be Over but our Real Estate Career is NOT!

By
Real Estate Agent with Mini Enterprise, LLC

The first quarter is over, tax credit has come to an end, rates are slowly climbling but there is no time like the present to stay motivated and continue to build your business - The days of business being handed to us has long been over - sure, the tax credit was a bonus not only to buyers but also to us agents but now since that has ended, what are you doing to stay motivated and get business?

Prospecting, Prospecting, Prospecting!  is what I have turned to.. I have committed to doing two open houses in a month, prospecting daily and staying focused!

I must confess, I lost focus and was unmotivated for a while but after getting a kick in the butt from my coach, I am glad to say that I am back on track.  I believe that with a positive attitude, a good work ethic, and continuous prospecting, we can make this the best year yet.

It's not going to be easy - It's going to be a lot of work but when the year is over, I would rather look back, smile and say, "Impossible is not a word"!

P.S. Thank you Coach for the kick in the butt :) and for keeping me accountable!

Great atitude. I just helped a client purchase a home built in 1934. That's right in the middle of the great depression. Even then there was at least one middle class family that could purchase a home.

Mini,

Real estate is never easy, but you have the right "just do it" attitude of prospecting. We are always out of business when we sell our listings & buyers homes. So, we constantly have to find more business. Sounds like you are on your way to continuing your success!
