Hi Lisa - The rooster can't be too happy about serving chicken.  :)  Sounds like a wonderful event.

Brings back happy memories for me!  I lived in Broken Arrow from 1973-1981.  Back in the day, Rooster Days was quite the event!  Do they still block off Main Street?

I have lived in BA my whole life and Rooster days used to be great fun but with all the inflex of new blood into are once nice small town.it has done nothing but go down hill. 1st moving it off Main St a few years back, now i think Rhema picks out all the music Im sad to say that this year is the last year that i will be going

Sounds like a lot of great food to eat.  I always enjoy your local posts.... my step sons live in Broken Arrow and maybe sometime this summer we will drive out for a long weekend to visit them.  I'll have to give you a call and have coffee or something if we do.  79 years is LONG time for a festival to still be going on.
