Raleigh has a full calendar of free concerts of practically every genre. From indie rock in a dive bar to jazz at an outdoor event, there is a wide range of options and tastes available.

At the end of April, I had the opportunity to go see a free rock concert in the middle of downtown Raleigh on Fayetteville Street, at the newly-opened square between the BB&T and Bank of America buildings.

The concert kicked off a fundraising weekend that included 5K and half-marathon runs, and also another concert at the Koka Booth Ampitheater in Cary.
No matter what day you're available and no matter what you're in the mood for, there is most likely an event in Raleigh for you. There might as well be 365 concerts in Raleigh in addition to 365 thngs to do in Raleigh!
