2009 Home Sales
Below is a chart comparing home sales from 2006 to 2009. Out of the 16 towns that I track for the Sunapee Region there were 390 homes that sold in 2008 and 2009 with a median sales price of $200,000. This is a down $35,000 from last year

Land Sales 2009
Land sales in the region had their first major decrease in average sales price since 2003 dropping over $40,000! Now the biggest difference when you look back to 2003 is that there were 354 properties that sold. In 2009 there were only 72. Grim numbers but if you are a buyer the opportunity is yours. This market is all about giving it a shot and seeing if it works!
