In case you missed Saturday Night LIve due to an outpouring of support through Facebook, Bette White hosted this week. In her opening monologue she discusses Facebook -
Miriam: From the sounds of this post, I'm guessing it wasn't the kindest words about Facebook. I missed the monologue but really enjoyed the last half of the show. Bette White definitely has a keen sense of humor.
Miriam: I see. You had a video. As soon as I hit submit, the video popped up. Glad I got a chance to watch it.
Miriam, I missed the program yesterday. Thanks for posting Betty's monologue. There might be some truth to what she is saying. Thanks.
One of the problems with not watching TV is that I miss things like this. Thanks for posting the video. Betty White is a kick!
Miriam - I missed it last night and was so disappointed. I love, love, love Betty White! Thanks for sharing!
Chris Ann - why not watch and not guess!
Michael - you are welcome
Lottie - i agree she is a kick!
Lina - you're welcome
I first remember her on the Mary Tyler Moore show, then of course Golden Girls. What a talent!
Hi Miriam ~ She's awesome! So psyched to find your post - my brother asked me earlier today if I had seen the show - I hadn't - but thanks to the miracle of AR I get this good taste of it. I just *love* seeing people in her age group out there making things happen - on the Supreme Court, on 60 Minutes, and now on SNL - way to go!
Liz
Who doesn't love Betty White? She's one of the very few performers in show business who have not only hung in there over the years and continued to work, but she can say the snarkiest things, and you still adore her. That's real talent.
