33 Comments on Yes... I admit it. I kiss the digital ground they walk on (LOL)
C,
I look forward to when we can get together again in person...not just bits and bytes.
Rich
Ohhh I so agree- I too kiss the digital groud we all play on! It's my first day back - or so it feels like it as I've been so swamped. I missed everybody and all the fun. What an amazing group of people!
Carolyn...totally appreciate the sentiment. A decade ago, I would not have had any understanding or your title. :) People matter...in person and in virtual space.
Ha! I love Margaret's comment above. It says it all.
Patricia
Patricia, Margaret is a hoot (LOL). :-)
Lola, I can't imagine you guys not being in my life. I look for you all daily while popping in and out of cyberspace. It's nice to stay connected with family and friends and the beautiful thing about blogging is you can share your thoughts with everyone at the same time. The whole gang can get in on the conversation or lurk quietly on the sidelines. :-)
Anna, an amazing group of people indeed. :-)
Richard, I love visiting Maryland and look forward to my next trip with the wee people. Stephen has been demanding chocolate cars and houses every single week end (LOL). My kids are hooked on road trips.
Kathy, it was the best thing I ever did on-line too. :-)
Lori, I was not myself when I couldn't log in. Talk about angst and withdrawal issues (LOL). My cell phone habits were off the hook for days. :-)
Carra, very, very true. :-)
Donne, absolutely. I love my phone conversations as well. Melody Botting and I are on so much my hubby started telling us to get a room (LOL). We'd talk into the wee hours sometimes. Chicka is mad cool. I adore her. :-)
LOL @ Jason. I know what you mean. It is definitely a wonderful enhancement and I always look forward to my virtual peeps crossing over into brick and mortar status. :-)
LOL @ Susan. That was a very cool movie. ;-)
Marilyn, thank you. Enjoy your day as well. :-)
LMAO @ Candice. It's an ancient Chinese secret... :-D
Big Mike, I know what you mean and Margaret's suggestion may turn into a fun project. Will keep you guys posted. :-)
Margaret, working on a very silly illustration for it (LOL). ;-)
Oh Missy, I can so relate to that on so many levels... I set aside times to read my fave writers. I don't always comment but am always happy to stop by for a virtual visit. It really makes my day. :-)
Gerry, I missed them just like you did. It was frustrating not knowing if everyone was okay, what the latest bit of fun or madness was and who was updating the continuing saga of life versus work. :-)
Thank you, Russell. The level of friendships are just amazing. I absolutely love this place. :-)
C,,,
ActiveRain is a community in every sense of the word. That's what I love about it too!
C-Tann, "my friends in the computer" - that is so true! Active Rain is definitely my internet home and a true community. And I'm so happy we're all up and running again :)
Margaret
CTS,
I know EXACTLY what you mean after just a year in the 'Rain. The community and friendships mean more than the business leads!
Hi C,
I am getting addicted to this community in many ways = no 12-step can cure this disease! lol
I am eager to explore this opportunity as well.
I value each relationship I have made on the Rain. I am a member of Club Chaos...I need to become active there though.
Awwwww, Gee C, we love ya back!!
LOL @ Margaret M. Thank you, sweetie pie. :-)
Damon, we have fun over there. :-)
Cliff, lots of great opportunities abound in cyberland. :-)
Marzena, some addictions are good for you (LOL).
Irene, there are days I don't even think about working (LMAO). ;-)
Margaret R, I wish I could have made it. Nice shot! :-)
Cute post. I hear of you being in the area but have not met you yet. Until then!

I really think that SM is the best way to meet and get friends that has ever happened. sometimes it even works out that we can meet face to face.
Cheryl, shall be back down for a visit with the wee people very soon. My kids are in love with Lucy's house. :-)
Thank you, Timo (LOL).;-)
Jirius,I am with you on that one. I have hooked up with some of the most fascinating people. Very cool if used carefully. :-)
You said: So many road trips, so little blogs about them (LOL).
