Celebration is a master planned community in Florida, which was developed by The Walt Disney Company, is in an unincorporated area of Osceola County that is near Walt Disney World. In fact, this development is connected to the park at both the north and south ends of the subdivision. This makes it possible for residents of Celebration to attend the park without dealing with the usual traffic congestion. Even though residents do not receive free or discounted passes to Disney World, the proximity alone can make it more attractive for families with children.

This has given Celebration a friendlier atmosphere and better sense of community and togetherness. Each area has its own look and feel through carefully selected design components. These elements give each of the eight communities distinct appearances.  

Celebration Real Estate Homes start at around $370k and go up to several million dollars for the highest-end homes. These are comparative to other higher end communities in North America, and are expected to maintain and rise in value due to the protective covenants and the sense of community that Celebration offers residents. There were a total of 9,500 residents in Celebration in 2004, and they resided in 3,745 households, including single family homes, townhomes and apartments.
