WDFW has scheduled another date to dig razor clams May 15, 2010 at Ocean Shores, WA!
A license is required for anyone age 15 or older. Razor-clam only licenses are also available in annual or three-day only versions. Descriptions of the various licensing options are available on the WDFW website at https://fishhunt.dfw.wa.gov.
To prevent injury to both shellfish and people, please fill in the holes you dig.
Tentative dig date: Saturday, May 15, 8:15 a.m., -1.6 ft
Best digging occurs between 1 and 2 hours before low tide.
Harvesters are allowed to take no more than 15 razor clams and must keep the first 15 they dig, regardless of size or condition. Each digger's clams must be kept in a separate container.
You can purchase your gear and a license at ACE Hardware in Ocean Shores.
