The month of May is the National Physical Fitness and Sports Month. Something we can all learn from. As a commemorative tribute, we just walked a couple of mile around a park path. We completed a nightly walk right after a nice ice cream cone- yummm.
A few years ago we attended a medical school graduation. The speaker and doctor just returned from several years in Central America working in a health clinic for very poor. He related that the lines were long for appointments to see doctors for problems related to lack of proper amount of food, nutrition, vitamins and other common poor country ills.
Then, he noted that in the United States we see virtual lines of Americans waiting to see their doctor for problems related to excess and too much food, availability of abundance of nutrition, vitamins, and other common rich country ills.
So! What is the meaning of all this? Too little or too much are both problems to the human body. The consumer needs to be smart and regulate our body intake.
