8 Comments on Seniors...Is now the time for you to go Condo? Don't Wait Until too Late in Life to Make This Important Decision.
Good advice and thanks for sharing your family story. I should be taking your advice myself.
A very insightful post and so true. I am a senior and also live in a senior community. I've watched and assisted many families with having to clean out these homes. Many family members come from across the country and can't take along a lot of what had "lovingly" been saved for them. I've also witnessed the joy of family members coming together for this chore and delighting in their shared time together and pouring through picture albums and memories.

Very insightful post Therese. Thanks for sharing your experience with your friends on Fraiche Aire.
Hi Roy, Thanks for your kind comment and for stopping by!
Hello Sue, So true....your statement about this also bringing families together, sharing old memories and good times. Thanks for the reminder, there is always good that comes from everything. :-)
Hi Lola, You're welcome and thank you!
I felt the same way, when my parents downsized, my kids tell me that all the time.
I smle and tell them well then you can buy it.
Hi Missy! You're too funny. :-) Not quite ready to go condo hugh?? My youngest will be graduating next year and although we may not be making the decision to downsize right then, I'm sure it will be in the next few years or so. I'm already tired of keeping up with my house and am looking forward to much less work and more freedom with my time.
Thanks so much for stopping by...always great to hear from you!
