Boulder, CO is known for its fun and unusual assortment of activities from rock climbing to kayaking down Boulder Creek.  One of the best times I have had in years is the Banjo Billy Ghost Tour.  Who would have thought that we have so many residents from that have decided to call Boulder, CO home from the other side.

The tour starts at the Boulderado Hotel where we learn of ghost that occupies some third floor rooms after the death of two lovers. Guest and employees have reported seeing ghostly figures, heard voices, and flickering lights have been reported, as well as a general creepy feeling. There is also a ghostly woman in white who has been seen by a number of guests at the hotel.

We then moved onto the Boulder Theatre where we experienced George Paper Theatre. George was the manager of the theater and while repairing lights accidentally hung himself. George has been seen top hat and all still working in the theatre. People have reported sudden cold spots backstage, water turning on and off in the bathrooms, and other odd occurrences.

The tour ends at Macky Auditorium where A murder committed in the west tower back in 1966 has given rise to one of the longest standing Hauntings in Boulder, CO.  Student for years have experienced music being played, cold spots and in some cases blood being seen on the floors and walls.

Boulder, CO has always been known for it’s hippies, crazy political makeup, Boulder CO Real Estate, Shakespeare Festival, The Pearl Street Mall, and now it has ghosts too.
