Payson Famers Market banner

We have had an unusually cool Spring in Payson. Well. actually we have alternated cool (even snow!) with really warm. The weather has slowed down my garden, and I imagine I'm not alone in  that. Hopefully SOME of the growers who will sell at the Farmers Market live in areas which haven't been as cool, and will have early veggies. We have bakers who produce wonderful baked goods, jams and jellies, marinades and rubs, cheese, herbs and seedlings, herbal products, a massage lady, prepared food, live entertainment- something for everyone!

We've had another location change for the Market. It will be held in the Sawmill Crossing shopping center,in front of the theater, and behind Chilis. This is a great location! Lots of parking on every side, several ways in and out of the area, and lots of people around. There are two restaurants (Chilis and Macky's Grill) in the center, so come to the market and then have lunch! Or go to Scoops for some great ice cream or coffee.

The first Market day will be May 29th- and every Saturday thereafter- 8 am till noon. The Market runs through mid October. If you come to (or through) Payson on the 29th- that's Memorial Day weekend, come and check out the Market. The shopping center is on the West side of Beeline Hwy, at the South end of Payson.

Leslie:  I love a good farmer's market.  And I hope the weather in Payson has cooperated with your local growers so they have something to bring to market for the community.

Thanks. I love markets, too. I take a few things from my garden to sell now and then, and I do their web page for them to try to encourage it.

Farmers' markets are in full swing here. They have become so profitable in terms of sales taxes that almost every city now has a farmers' market, and some cities have several.

Everything looks so good!  We really didn't have a spring at all either.  We are headed into the heat of the summer and it is still cold here and there.
