Videos now can be uploaded directly to Realtor.com

If you have enhanced listings on Realtor.com, you can now upload Video Tours directly to that site through your control panel. Just more proof that video is the up and coming way to market real estate.

Oddly enough however, they only allow UNBRANDED tours on the video option, however if you upload your video to the "featured tour" area, they allow 'branded videos'.

Huh? It makes no sense to me.

Can you tell us how to do it? step by step for folks that are as sharp as a wet nerf!

Just go into your enhanced account and go to "Enhance my listings". It's right there! Just pick the size of your video and upload it - its really very simple. They say it takes a couple of hours, but mine were available in 3 minutes. (Plus, you don't need a PicturePath provider to do this for you - you can do it yourself!)

I did not realize this. Thanks for the tip! I do know the enhanced "showcase" listings are very costly to Realtors and we see little benefit. AT lease that was my experience. I have been paying the extra $25 to have my real estate video tours appear on Realtor.com.

Thanks for the invite to New Hampshire. I was there a few times. Maybe one of these days.

One thing that concerns me is there are many sites out there that let just about anyone with a camcorder upload video tours. Hopefully the public and Realtors will be able to weed out the amateurs from the professionals. I know the first tour I did myself. I thought that was great. I realize now I should only use professional videographers to shoot video tours and I need to screen them big time!!!
