Recently I went to Laurie Moore-Moore's certification class called Luxury Home Marketing. I really enjoyed the many different ways to market a Luxury Home as well as obtain those types of listings. During the class, Laurie Moore-Moore talked about Stan Barron's book "How to apply Madison Avenue methods to Real Estate Advertising".
In his material, Stan Barron discusses a process for advertising that includes
- 3-step critical path for writing an ad
- Provides examples to review
- Provides ways to photograph a house
- Sacrifice - making the connection direct to the target audience you are selling toward.
- Uniqueness - promote a listing's unique features in a competitive market.
- Branding Each Listing - taking the time to re-iterate why a person bought their home.
- Continuity - photographs align with your message
- Headlines - strongest compelling claim, positioning your message
