What brought me to San Francisco?  Inman? No. Blogging Conference? Maybe. Most of all, it was to meet ActiveRain people that I've met over the last year - on line, on the phone, in person. They all matter. I wanted to meet Brian Brady and Roberta Murphy, Laurie Manny and Paul Chaney, Jim Cronin and Ardell. Yes, the panels were interesting, but especially when I "knew" the panelists. For me, it was the first Active Rain conference, and surely Matt and Caleb and Jonathan were part of that as well. Yes, it was well worth the trip across the country.

Everyone says you look great Sharon - when is the new picture coming up?

It really sounds like it was a fabulous time.  One of my favorite pictures was taken by Jeff Turner of Paul Chaney taking a picture of the panel with his cell phone camera....one of those "priceless" moments.

Sharon, it is really nice when you finally meet people you have been interacting with over the phone or the internet, isn't it? Enjoy your trip and the whole experience!

Sharon,

How wonderful that you got to go and meet so many people in person that you already "knew." I'm sure you had a terrific time with wonderful people in my favorite city!!

Sharon, it was a pleasure to see you in San Fran at Real Estate Connect. I really learned a lot of new tech information that I think will help me in my real estate business. I took your advice and just started blogging. It was actually pretty painless. I hope to see you in St. Pete sometime. Best wishes!

Sharon: What a treat to finally meet you in person! Like you, I came to finally meet so many of the people we feel we have come to know this past year. I also had the opportunity to chat with Laurie Moore-Moore, who is also a great fan of yours.

For dinner, Gena Laurie and I went to a little al frescoe French restaurant. It was healthy and fun. So wish you could have j,oined us, but also understand the need for precious sleep.

I was dragging the next day because Laurie kept us up until 2:30 am learning about SEO....

Joeann - it was great to see you again as well!

Ines - yes, yes, it's still coming...

Griselda - I did indeed enjoy the trip and meeting people. Came back with another list of things to do.

Carole - it was a wonderful time - just not enough of it to enjoy one on one time with everyone I would have liked to get to know better.

Wendy - see, it's the first step that's the hardest. Just do it. Congratulations!!

Roberta - the little French restaurant sounds great. As it turns out, I didn't even go downstairs for dinner - ate an apple and went tobed. I still haven't caught up on my sleep. Glad you got to chat with Laurie.
