OK Folks I am new to AR, about 24 hours young and I had shuffled my feet in putting on my pic.  After a few comments about not having a pic up I decided to make my husband stop and take a new pic of me.  Now granted he is no Ansel Adams and it is slightly out of focus but one is up there now.

As I was putting it up I realized that when I read the blogs from individuals I always scroll back to their picture and see if I can glean some insight from that snapshot in time.  As if you can actually judge someone's character or rate their performance as a real estate professional from a pic.

Sometimes you wonder where they were when they took that shot.  Some folks post pics of themselves doing things that bring them joy, like fishing, boating or on the golf course. Some stand in front of their newest listing on the market, or go to Sears photo studio or scan their latest portrait from the local photographer.  Sometimes it helps people identify with you. Real Estate is high-touch business and people buy you before they'll start a real estate transaction with you.  For instance anyone who had good blogs and had a pic of them swimming or golfing I would want to get to know them immediately.  So I apologize with my delay in uploading my pic.  Please except my humble apologies.

What do you think your pic says about you? Does it display you as a real estate professional or give insight to your demeanor.  Mine says my husband can't focus an auto focus 9 mega pix camera and that smile I was suppressing was courtesy of a great son who looked on with cartoon faces.

Please comment and add a pic of yourself doing something that brings you joy.  No pornography please! :) or just paste a pic that tells us a little more about you.

Happy Blogging

Sharon,

Welcome to the community. Some people offer up candid shots and others stills from the photography studio............like mine. since this site is also view by prospective clients, I choose to keep a professional image. In my members only posts, I would use a candid shot.

On another subject, I would recommend a visit to the Newbie Group, there you will find a plethora of posts to help you navigate the community and make the most of your membership.

I love your picture!

Mine says, my horse likes me.  For my clientele, that's as good a referral as it gets!  And I've even had folks who aren't looking for horse properties and who don't even have a horse say that they chose me because of my picture - their little girl saw it and said they had to use me!

Toni, thanks for the blog.  My grandkids give me joy, as does music, especially Gospel.  (A secret desire is to sing with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir) Thanks for a heartwarming blog!

LMAO AR is great.  Thanks for the flattery on the pic, I've never considered myself photogenic, so I needed that boost. <wiping butter off my monitor> :)

JOEANN What a joy seeing you and your daughter, what a great pic. kids remind of us why we work so hard and Real Estate has given me some freedom to enjoy my son, I worked 70 hour weeks and commuted for an extra 15 hours before starting.

WILLIAM thanks I have been all over the Rain already and have already learned things and been inspired to push harder

JENNIFER your Meez is great, it reminds a bit of sitepal and I love the animation

TRICIA That pics reminds me of my Mom who loved to ride when she was young in Central Park, alas they closed the stables this year (ahhhhh!)

KEITH  Aahh with your pic I see someone hard at work making it happen

DANIELLEI usually look crypt -keeperish in pics so I'm sort of glad it's out of focus

MIKE I saw your pic with your Granddaughter this morning and it brought a big ole cheesy smile to my face, I'm picturing you making up wonderful songs about them like alot of grand dads do.

I found you on Bobby Carrols post, and had to come over here to welcome you....wasn't prepared to add a pic, but I will :)  After all, this is your post.

This is a pic of me and one of my Grandchildren by Parker, Arizona on the River.  Just another work day at the River.......oh, and we did more than just sit there :)  I love spending time with my Grandchildren.

All these young, great looking grand parents.  I guess if our Grandparents loved their work, they'd look as great when we were younger too.

Thanks Kathy for the welcome

As promised, I posted another [BETTER?????] pic and it still doesnt compare to the others posted. Good thing I had my "grandson" in it. Does it make me look as young as the other grandparents? Please dont comment.

Toni - Great Pic!  Thanks for posting your picture so quickly.  I think adding a picture, even if it is out of focus is better than those wierd little outlines (I feel like I am communicating with "deep throat" or an undercover agent! LOL)  Here is a pic of my husband and I with 2 of our favorite people, our grandchildren!
