Hello everyone.  Well it is a Friday night and the Bikers have been rolling in for the Sturgis Harley Davidson Bike Rally for the last couple of days.  You can start to hear the rumble of their engines any street you turn on.  Today was a beautiful day for bikers as the temps only hit in the 80's and we even got a nice rain shower this afternoon towards early evening.  This really helped cool things down and it was much needed in the Black Hills to reduce the fire rating from severe to high.   We have had such a dry Summer.

My parents were up visitng me earlier this year, when the weather was a bit nippy and so I thought I would share a picture of us standing in front of Pactola Lake. Notice how many feet the water is down by looking at the watermark on the island in the lake.  Terrible.   The lake is down several feet due to the drought.  I am praying for snow this Winter to help fill them all up again.
