It is finally here.  Everyone who follows me knows that it wi the Fishing Opener.  I head out early this morning to get things ready for the group of friends that will be joining us.  So let's start the weekend with a smile...

The Game Warden had been watching a popular stream for fishing.   Everyone seamed to be catching a few except one older gentleman.  He would walk by upstream and go until out of site and about an hour later came back with all kinds of fish.

After a few days like this the Game Warden decided to follow him.   As he followed the old man the trail got narrower and narrower until it was blended into the brush.  There he watched as the old man walked up to the river band and push an old rickety boat into the water.

Seeing his suspect almost getting away he steps out of hiding and says..."Good Morning sir.  Do you mind if I tag along with you?"

"Suit yourself" The old man replied and pushed the boat away from shore.  Slowly the old man rows out to the middle and sets anchor.  The Game Warden looks around in the boat but sees no fishing pole, only the bucket he has seen the old man carry the last few days.

The Game Warden watches as the old man reaches into the bucket and pulls out a match and lights it.  He then pulls out a stick of TNT, lights it and throws it into the water.  BOOM it goes and a few fish float to the top.  "Hey, you can't be doing that", the Game Warden yells.

The old man reaches into the bucket and grabs a 2nd stick of TNT lights it ans tosses it to the Game Warden...

"Well", the old man askes..."Are you going to site there and talk or are you going to fish?"

To eveyone venturing out...have a safe wekend in all your activicties!

William:

When I used to go fishing as a young girl with my brother he would always tell me to be quiet so the fish would not be frightened away. I don't think TNT would be very welcomed on a fishing trip.

Bill, Just like shooting fish in a barrel, but TNT can be quicker and more effective than a gun or a pole.

Years ago, I was trout fishing next to a guy who was just killing them. Limit was six. I got NADA...The guy on the other side of the guy kept congratulating him. Fish # 7 got put into the basket and the guy congratulated my neighbor while writing him up. He was the fish warden. There goes license and in comes fine...out goes fish.

Good luck and have fun and don't start drinking too early.
