HINTS FROM LAKE MURRAY MOMS
For little ones that are teething and take a pacifier, put the paci's in the freezer so it is nice and cold and feels good on sore mouths. This helpful tip has been brought to you by Lake Murray Moms. We are a local mom’s group that provides support for all moms in the Chapin and surrounding Lake Murray area. We have a monthly meeting/ social (at the Chapin Chamber). We also plan a monthly night out and play dates every week. We invite moms with children of all ages to visit our group. POST 193 HONORS VIETNAM VETERANS
Chapin American Legion Post 193 Riders escorted the Veterans of Vietnam War recently. Veterans left Dorn VA hospital and rode to downtown Veterans Memorial Park for a laying of a wreath. Governor Mark Sanford was guest speaker and Sheriff Leon Lott honored survivors at Dorn Medical Center. The program was sponsored by South Carolina Combat Veterans Group and the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce.

EVENTS TO REMEMBER!
MAY 14-15 - THE IRMO-CHAPIN RELAY FOR LIFE WALK will be held on May 14-15 at Chapin High School. The Opening Ceremony, Survivor Lap & Survivor Reception will begin at 7:00 pm (CHS Track). The Luminaria Ceremony is planned for 10 pm and the closing of the Relay will be at 6:30 am.
