I went out to grab a bite to eat at lunchtime and decided to visit my friendly, neighborhood Chick-fil-A. As I am sure Jeremy Blanton will whole-heartedly agree with, Chick-fil-A is a fantastic organization with spectacular food. They believe in serving quality food for great prices, treat their employees well and give back to their community in any way they can. So, when I got home, sat down and opened my bag of hot deliciousness, I saw this little green piece of paper talking about Military Appreciation Month at Chick-fil-A in Moreno Valley, CA:
Every Saturday in May, all military personnel (whether active, reserve or veteran) is welcome to eat for FREE all day long. They only have to present their military ID. And, as if that weren't enough, on Saturday, May 29, 2010, the Chick-fil-A at 2885 Canyon Springs Parkway (off Day Street) in Moreno Valley will be feeding all military personnel (with ID) as well as their immediate families for FREE from 10am-5pm. There will be entertainment as well as outside seating available. How awesome is that? And with the March ARB located just up the street, you know there are some military families in the area who will be more than happy to take advantage of this opportunity. What a fantastic way to tell the brave men and women who currently and historically served our country "thank you". This is why you should definitely frequent a Chick-fil-A in your neighborhood. This is the kind of business that needs to stay in business.
If you're not in the Moreno Valley area, you may want to check in with your own local Chick-fil-A. They may be celebrating something similar as well. Remember: Eat Mor Chikin! Celebrate Military Appreciation Month at Chick-fil-A in Moreno Valley during May 2010.
