Military Appreciation Month at Chick-fil-A in Moreno Valley

I went out to grab a bite to eat at lunchtime and decided to visit my friendly, neighborhood Chick-fil-A.  As I am sure Jeremy Blanton will whole-heartedly agree with, Chick-fil-A is a fantastic organization with spectacular food.  They believe in serving quality food for great prices, treat their employees well and give back to their community in any way they can.  So, when I got home, sat down and opened my bag of hot deliciousness, I saw this little green piece of paper talking about Military Appreciation Month at Chick-fil-A in Moreno Valley, CA:

Chick-fil-A celebrates Military Appreciation Month in Moreno Valley, CA

Every Saturday in May, all military personnel (whether active, reserve or veteran) is welcome to eat for FREE all day long.  They only have to present their military ID.  And, as if that weren't enough, on Saturday, May 29, 2010, the Chick-fil-A at 2885 Canyon Springs Parkway (off Day Street) in Moreno Valley will be feeding all military personnel (with ID) as well as their immediate families for FREE from 10am-5pm.  There will be entertainment as well as outside seating available.  How awesome is that?  And with the March ARB located just up the street, you know there are some military families in the area who will be more than happy to take advantage of this opportunity.  What a fantastic way to tell the brave men and women who currently and historically served our country "thank you".  This is why you should definitely frequent a Chick-fil-A in your neighborhood.  This is the kind of business that needs to stay in business.

If you're not in the Moreno Valley area, you may want to check in with your own local Chick-fil-A.  They may be celebrating something similar as well.  Remember: Eat Mor Chikin!  Celebrate Military Appreciation Month at Chick-fil-A in Moreno Valley during May 2010.

Heather....What a tremendous way to let our military folks know they are truly appreciated.  So much of the time military personnel perform their jobs without any acknowledgment  and under appreciated.  Kudos to Chick-fil-A!

I don't think I've ever seen a Chick-Fil-A down here although I used to eat there regularly back in Texas.

OK, Russel.  I had to Google Chick-fil-A and found that they do have a Chick-fil-A in San Diego (3570 Sports Arena Blvd), Chula Vista (2089 Olympic Pkwy), San Marcos (587 Grand Ave) and Oceanside (3475 Marron Rd).  Hope one of these is by you.  You have to check them out.  You can thank me later.  :)

Hi Heather - It's wonderful to hear about a company who understands the importance of giving as well as receiving.  BTW - I also understand that Chick-fil-A is closed on Sundays.  Wonderful for families.

Now, that is awesome! Our military should be honored, they are what gave us the freedom to own our own businesses and not have the government decide what we should do and how much we should charge for those goods and services. I love our freedom and anything we can do to give back we should!

Yes, Pam.  I saw a program about the owner of Chick-fil-A.  He wanted to allow his employees to spend time on the weekends with their families.  So, he decided to close on Sundays.  It hasn't hurt his business in the least.  And the people are so friendly.  I love it.

That is so true, Todd.  I applaud businesses that are willing to do this and think we should support them as well.
