WOW! Rochester is hopping with new businesses, the Farmer's Market is in full swing and is bringing in lots of visitors to our great city.  We are in the process of planning for the big 2012 MAIN STREET RECONSTRUCTION (that will be a challenge to say the least) and in doing so we are converting our Alleys to one-way and beautifying the downtown alleys with pedestrian friendly street- scapes.

We also installed Bicycle Racks downtown to help the Green Commuter.  Other Green Commuter ideas are on books and we can only hope that we will soon become the CITY OF GREEN.

Speaking of CITY OF GREEN --we are fiscally sound!  There are not many cities surrounding us who are.

If you haven't been to the famous Royal Park Hotel, it is only a short walk from the Farmer's Market and it is at the beginning of their busy season with weddings, parties and of course headlining Concert Stars who will be gracing our city again this year.  We definitely need to work together to Beautify our City on a daily basis as we never know who will be here next.  FIRST IMPRESSIONS ONLY HAPPEN ONCE...

We spend a lot of our tax dollars to keep our city clean and it shows.  The other day when driving home on University Drive the sun was highlighting our beautiful city and the grass was green, the streets were clean and the homes showed pride of ownership.  We are all very fortunate to still have our homes and take great pride in dressing them up for all to see.

Well, we are only a couple weeks from the Heritage Festival where all the proud citizens of our city join in all the fun and car shows at our beautiful City Park.  Mark your calendars and see you there!
