I had the pleasure of attending a showing of The Next Reunion at the Society Hill Playhouse last night. My good friend Denise treated me and it was a lot of fun! The writer and director, Larry McKenna is a high school chum of Denise's and a very funny man. In the playbill, Larry McKenna says that The Next Reunion "is intended for entertainment only" and not to look for deeper meaning. He was half right. It was very entertaining and a lot of fun but I found loads of meaning in it and some food for thought. Even the playbill was funny!
I don't want to give away any of the plot but if you are looking for a none stuffy, casual attire, belly laughing good time, treat yourself to tickets to see this show which runs from 5/13 to 6/20!
