Don't Let Bad Credit Stop You From Looking For a Home

If you are one of the millions of people who lost a job in the last couple of years - you might have some "bad" marks on your credit report.  Just because you had a few late payments, or lived off of your credit cards, or went bankrupt... or had a short sale...

There are things you CAN do to increase your credit score!

You Can Fix Credit

We get reports that tell us how much we can improve your score, and what to do to get there!

For most of our customers, it takes 90 to 180 days to get the score up high enough to qualify!

The TWO biggest mistakes we see people making right now are:

I'm not suggesting that everyone needs to seek a credit repair specialist - however, if your score is in the mid 500s, you should seek some advice before just paying things off!

It could be that the cash you have would serve you better by paying a credit card down, or opening a secure credit card!  It's also important to remember that your score could change based upon WHICH credit card you pay down!

If you have questions about your credit score, and want to know how to improve your FICO score, call Steve Thorne, FFSI 919-649-5058.  Honest answers - isn't that what you really want?

Wonderful advise. So many prosepctive "buyers" are afraid to try because of some past credit issues.

It's amazing.... (to me) but when folks payup front for credit repair (like $220) that we credit back to them... then they DO THE THINGS that they should be doing!  We've closed 70% more people who needed to get a few points when they paid for it!

Eleanor, you and Steve do a wonderful service to the credit community!  You give people solid advice (without charging exorbitant fees like others do) and you provide an outline of just how and what to do!  Thank you...
