Bangkok's WAR

Around 5,000 people are still protesting in the streets of Thailand. Protesters calling themselves the "Red Shirts" are out in the streets fighting with the Thai Army because they are upset with the current government. Back in 2006, Thailand had a coup where they exiled former PM Thaksin out of the country. These Red Shirts are people who want Thaksin to come back into power, however he was exiled due to corruption while in office.

Now the latest news in this comes from one of the leaders, Seh Daeng, being shot by one of the Army officers. Now a new faction the "Black shirts" have emerged and they say they are 'willing to use force' to achieve their goals since the army used force against him! Keep posted by the link above!

Wow - sobering information. I heard that the US Government did indeed find BP responsible for the oil spill. Thanks for keeping us up-to-date!
