April Showers Bring May Flowers . . Yes They Do!

By
Real Estate Agent with Mapleridge Realty, CT 203-206-0754 REB.0759001

As I came in for Lunch yesterday I was greeted by the onset of a row of colors along my driveway. The spring colors of the iris and day lilies are starting to show themselves.

I have had many of the neighbors come by and walk away with some of these for their own gardens. They grow so quickly. There are several colors of Day Lillie's that are starting to show their sprouts. There is still a but of fragrance in the beds left over from the Liliesof the Valley. Along side the garage are the bright reds of the laurel and the blooms of hostas just waiting for either the flower shoots to come out or the deer tocome in and snack on the leaves.

The flowers look great. I am not very good at all the various flowers, when they bloom, when to plant, when to fertilize etc. My hat is off to you.

Dan, thanks for the thoughts, I didn't start them but for the last 14 years I have been headof maintenance and gardening

Scott, a shot of Miracle-Gro a coupleof times a year does wonders and almost makes me look like I know what I'm doing

Thanks Andrea, the day lillieshave several different colors along with the purchased lillies that get replanted once their colors fade.

Lee & Carol, thanks for stopping. We have colors in they yard from flowers  and floweringtrees starting in early April and continuing thru Late Sept  and Oct when I get the mums in.

Craig, sometimes I believe it would be easier to watch them in a neighbor's yard a lot less work.
