One of the few shops in the Whatcom Falls Park neighborhood of Bellingham is Lafeen’s. Their specialty is doughnuts and probably the best in town.
When you walk into Lafeens first thing you see is a large glass counter loaded with a wide variety of doughnuts topped with chocolate, coconut, sprinkles, gigantic maple bars, fritters, bear claws, and even cookies and muffins.
They also offer a good variety of ice cream, sundaes and milkshakes. Then why variety of patrons from schoolkids and college student’s to older folks, and those on their way to work stopping by for coffee and a snack.
There’s a giant picnic table inside to sit at while you eat your doughnut or stare at your laptop as their now a WiFi hotspot.
Lafeen’s is one of the few places to get late-night snacks in town, they’re open till 10:45 PM every night. Lafeen’s is located at 1466 Electric Ave Bellingham, WA 98229 ner the entrance to Whatcom Falls Park.
