Woodlawn Middle School in Long Grove takes first place in the Patriot Middle school Conference VolleyBall Tournament
The eighth graders at Woodlawn Middle School in Long Grove just snatched the First Place trophy for the Patriot Middle School Conference VolleyBall tournament today.
ThePatriot Middle school Conference Volleyball tournament was held at Woodlawn Middle School both yesterday May 17th and today, May 18th.
The schools that participated in the Patriot tournament included Fremont Junior High, West Oak Junior High, Aptakisic Junior High, Twin Groves Middle School, Woodlawn Middle school and Daniel Wright Junior High. All of these Schools are feeder schools of Stevenson High School.
In the Conference Volleyball finals in a very close match, Woodlawn Middle School of Long Grove beat Daniel Wright Middle School of Lincolnshire. The competition was fierce and both teams played harmoniously as they set and spiked the ball back and forth over the net.
Great job to Woodlawn's coach Mr Keenon and to all the Volleyball team members. Your hard work and dedication paid off. ( I am so proud of you Josh).
