Inspection Photo of the Day...
Where would the real estate industry be without home improvement TV? Today we feature another tip from that award winning program, "You CAN Do It Yourself" hosted by none other than the master of DIY, Unhandy Andy.
One loyal viewer wrote in this request. Dear Andy, "Our electric panel is missing the dead-front cover. Do you know a cheap fix for this? - Spock from Spokane
Spock, Sure. Since you are remodeling, you are bound to have some scrap paneling or luan laying around. Cut to fit your panel opening and screw it in place. And as a bonus, this can be stained or painted to match your walls.
Tune in next time for another tip from Andy. And, remember, no matter how difficult the task, "You CAN Do It Yourself"...

Will wonders never cease? That is two wonders in one. One: that someone really did that and Two that the house didn't burn down.  Would love to see how you wrote that up with out using the word DUMB!

Gee...I'm surprised that Andy even knows what Luan is!!!

I figured he would call it, that thin wood stuff, kind of like paneling, but thinner....

Michael, the thing is, this box can be painted to match the surroundings. Then it becomes invisible to the eye making for a much better landscape, you know?

Picky, picky, picky! Wood is not conductive so what's the problem? Seems like a perfectly good solution.....NOT!

That is hilarious!
