Did you know that Waco's average home sale price went up 3% from last year?
Did you know that our average listing price of a home went up 22% from last year?
Did you know that our average days on market went from 116 last year to 130 this year? That is a 12% increase?
Last year this time, a home sold for 2% less than the listing price.
This year homes are selling 21% below their listing price. WOW - Overpriced homes and too many days on the market.

What does that tell me? Tells me that home sales haven't dropped and the market isn't bad, just too many realtors not educating the public. I wonder how many people list their home with a person just because of the company they work for? Do people care if the professional knows their market? What do you think?

Welcome to AR.
I beleive it is a matter of educaiton of the sellers to the current market and the agent wanting to buy a listing.  Sometimes the phrase = "The Buyer (in this cass the Seller is the buyer of our service) is always right", has helped cause the problem. Not all Seller want to hear or see what you just wrote.
