Want to Save Money and Go Green?

Today it seems like everyone is interested in saving money anywhere they can. Saving money on every day items at your grocery store is a great way to start. Using your mobile phone to carry the coupons is the perfect way to "go green" and save many resources.

Lately there has been a lot of buzz online and on television about how much money people are saving by using coupons. The trouble is, there are so many sites online that offer coupons that it can get a little confusing. On the bright side, the best sites are very user friendly. All you have to do is enter your email address and create an account. Then you can select how often you want an email delivered with the newest coupons in your zip code or city. Here are 4 coupon websites  worth bookmarking:

CellfireCellfire.com Cellfire can be used two ways: by adding coupons to your local grocery store savings cards or by using your cell phone. You can add coupons to your local grocery store savings card by inputting your grocery store(s) savings card(s) information, and then clicking to add the coupons you want to use to your card. The coupons are then automatically added to your grocery store savings card and your extra savings will show up when you check out. If you want to use Cellfire on your cellphone, simply download their application to your phone, browse the available coupons, select the coupon you would like to use, and show whatever comes up on your phone's screen to the cashier. (The cashier will then key-in the code)

CouponMomCouponmom.com The beauty of this site is that it offers a wide variety of coupons. You can get online coupon codes, print coupons out to take to your store, get free samples, and more. You can also organize your coupons using their virtual organizer, and customize the types of weekly emails you would like. Don't miss the tutorial with fantastic and helpful information that will help you "Cut Your Grocery Bill in Half!"

Coupons.comCoupons.com This site makes it very easy to browse all available coupons. You can browse all national manufacture/retailer coupons as well as area specific coupons. Just select the coupons you would like to use, print them out, and take them with you to your local store. Coupons.com also allows you to add coupons directly to your grocery store savings card(s) so provide them with complete information. By adding your store card information you may not have to print the coupons out and again, go green.

Couponcabin.com This site is perfect for online shoppers. Browse all the available retailers (Amazon, Vistaprint, Home Depot, Target, Etc.) and the coupons they're offering, shop their online stores, enter your coupon code, and receive your savings at the check out. The site is updated three times daily so the most current coupons are always at your fingertips. The staff tests the coupon codes to ensure that they will work when you do your shopping. (Note: these big saving coupons cannot be used in stores.)

The world of virtual coupons is constantly changing and making progress. New companies are adding coupons every day. Cell phone coupons (or mobile coupons) are expected to become increasingly popular in the very near future. Many companies are conducting trials of scanner-based coupons that can be scanned directly from your phone's screen. Target is one of few retailers that currently has scanner-based mobile coupon offers you can redeem directly from your phone's screen. USAToday.com says, "Shoppers interested in Target's program must 'opt in' by registering at the company's online or mobile websites, or by texting the word "COUPONS" to 827438... Once registered, shoppers receive a text message on their phones with a link to a mobile Web page with various offers, which can all be accessed through a single bar code. Target says the program works with any phone that has a browser and data plan."

The word is going digital! Get prepared to start seeing important information on a 4 x 6 screen as the "mobi" world becomes part of everyday life.

Have some fun with this concept, share with your customers and save resources and go green!
