Sometimes you just have to stop your car, back up and take a picture of something that catches your creative eye.  Today was one of those days!  As my daughter and I were heading up the hill from Pacific Beach to Mount Soledad in La Jolla we passed by a dead end street with this sign posted at the corner.  Wouldn't it be great if all street signs had ivy growing up and around them?  Wouldn't that beautify our communities!

i love it.  I'm surprised it doesn't violate some sign standard that requires the ivy to be removed.  Or maybe it does, but all of the city officials live on through streets and never drive past it.  :)
