Rare opportunity to own this stylish 3 level condo at 616 E St, NW. Only 4 years young, this DC bank foreclosure is one of kind – offering 3 bedrooms, 3 and a half baths and private terrace located in the heart of the sought after Penn Quarter. This is not just a home this a life style! I visited the building yesterday and was greeted by an extremely pleasant gentleman at the front desk. On of the many building amenities include 24 hour front desk attendants. They are there to greet your guests, accept packages and monitor the front door. Other features of the Clara Barton include fitness facility, breath taking court yard, roof top pool, party room and office center.

All this just blocks from DC's finest restaurants, museums, Verizon Center and Metro. Offered at $750,000.

I am looking for property.  Could you let me know why would the offer me uS$750,000 for a three bedroom in a building that was reconstructed at the top of the market?  I watched that reconstruction go up and new that it was overpriced. I have a keen interest in that property.  However, since the property is in foreclosure?  What is the lending institution accepting as short-sale offer.  I think it is overpriced and the second recession is around the corner.  I still have interest.  However, I think banks are more risk averse and will not finance a property that is overprice in this recession even if someone puts up 20% of the money.
