If you wanted to do more with a larger budget, check to see how old your appliances may be.... if they are a bit outdated --- Replace Them! Home Buyers love new appliances, they want something new since this is going to be their new home! You do not always have to replace these things, but this is a great home selling tip!

Hi Kathryn,

You are so right!... Cabinet knobs and drawer pulls really can change the look of your kitchen! They even make a small ruler type tool, that lines up with the bottom corner of your cabinet so you put the knobs in the right place every time.

Great tip! I always tell people who are thinking of updating their appliances to go to a discount or scratch and ding store. You can get great appliances that are slightly used, or with a few scratches for far less, and buyers dont know or care that they arent brand new.
