Warning: Continual fence sitting may cause splinters in your backside.
This is just too funny, I had to reblog it for Mary. I you want to comment, please visit Mary's blog.
Warning: Continual fence sitting may cause splinters in your backside.
If you sit on the fence long enough, you might get splinters, but if you jump- splinters may be avoided.
I'm not a pushy person, I don't like my clients to think I'm pressuring them in any way. Shopping for homes, mountain cabins or vacant land should be enjoyable not pressurized.
Still, I wonder how they will feel when this house or that lot is sold before they make their decision.
So, I ask them that question, "How will you feel if someone purchases this home before you decide?"
When asked, these buyers got that deer in the headlights look - the one that told me they didn't really think this house would be sold anytime soon.
They didn't listen when I told them, "There has been a lot of interest in this property lately," and they didn't believe me when I told them they needed to jump.
Then we see the home they looked at and liked, sold... to someone else.
My buyers lost the home they wanted last week; I felt badly that they waited too long.
When you see something you like, be prepared to make the offer.
Continual fence sitting may cause splinters in your backside.
You need to jump off the fence to avoid the Splinters Of Regret.
If you don't believe me, read this post. My friend Jane Peters stated the situation quite well, and left out the painful and probably unnecessary imagery of the splinters.
