Housing near UWO in London Ontario

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Envelope Real Estate Brokerage Inc

This weekend so far I have received 5 emails from parents across Canada inquiring about purchasing a condo for their daughter or son close to Western.

Some of the questions are: Is it safe for my daughter? How long does it take to walk to Western? What bus route? What can I get for $150,000? What happens when I want to sell it and what will it be worth?

What questions do you have? Where can you go for some straight information? Is it accurate? How true is it?

This is a big step you are taking by not only purchasing real estate in a strange city but also the fact your children are moving away from you. I can relate to that and can ensure you that by working with one knows the ins and outs, plus has the strength and ability to tell you the truth, will help you sleep better at night!

I think this kind of query goes on in all university towns...same in Victoria with U.Vic and Camosun College.

Li:

I'm sure it does but it amazes me the trouble some parents have experienced by not employing a good representative.

Ty- It sounds like some expect you to be able to predict with some certaintythat they can only win by doing this and how much they will win. Real estate runs in cycles some longer than others ..... you could certainly give a best guess estimate but how can you be expected to predict with some degree of certainty how well they will fare.

Kathy:

You are correct in that I cannot predict the future but I also respect people's fears of investion and all I can do is prepare them with facts.
