Sales are showing signs of slowing a bit in Palmdale & Lancaster area of the Antelope Valley.   However the pipeline has 1,074 homes pending (in Escrow).  The current mix is split between short sale at 336, REO at 327 and the balance 411 Traditional Sale.  As lenders are under more pressure to make better loans lead-times on funding seems to be the bottleneck...  This month is projected to have 372 opened escrows, and with the selling season over the next 3 months looming, lending issues could derail expected closing.  With the amount of homes in the pipeline and the inventory of available home hovering around 1,300, pricing pressures are in full effect and we have seen and continue to see home values moving higher...
