Lindenhurst also has their own beach called Venetian Shores. It is on the Great South Bay. If you are a die-hard ocean beach person, the Town of Babylon has beaches to suit every resident. I like Robert Moses and Jones Beach.
Like to go out to eat? Well, Lindenhurst has too many restaurants to list. And there are a lot of diners so no matter what time of day or night, you will not starve! My favorite diner is the Lindenhurst Diner. They have the best garlic chicken with rice and they give you a lot of food on your plate so go there hungry.
